Manchester United head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has provided the latest injury update on defenders, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, ahead of the Red Devils’ Premier League clash against Southampton on Sunday.

Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka both sustained injuries in Man United’s Champions League 4-1 victory against Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

Providing an update on both players, Solskjaer said Lindelof had a problem with his back, while Wan-Bissaka suffered a knock in his ankle.

According to him, he expects both Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka to recover fully for the Southampton clash.

Solskjaer told BT Sport, “Hopefully they will be ready for the weekend [game against Southampton].

“It’s an ankle for Aaron and back for Victor.

“There was no point taking any more risks,” he said.
