Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale, has decided not to leave the club this summer transfer window, according to Mirror UK.

Bale is now prepared to wait up to two years for his next club if necessary when his contract with Real Madrid will expire.

DAILY POST recalls that Bale was among the four players Real Madrid wants to sell this summer.

His relationship with Real Madrid head coach, Zinedine Zidane hit a new low last week when Welsh international was omitted from their Champions League squad that lost 2-1 against Manchester City.

Bale was available to play against Man City but refused to travel for to Etihad as he knew he would not get picked by Zidane.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star faces a bleak future at the Santiago Bernabeu as he didn’t feature for the Los Blancos in any of their previous seven games either.

Meanwhile, Bale’s former teammate, Dimitar Berbatov has since suggested a loan move away for the forward.

Bale is under contract at Real Madrid until 2022.

His mega-contract is worth over £600,000-a-week which makes any potential loan expensive, even if Madrid subsidize part of his salary.

He last played for Zidane’s side on June 24 in their 2-0 victory over Mallorca.
